"Holly" at 11 weeks old

This season has been a little exasperating in that my old spaniel has been retired and several dogless trips to the foreshore has left me feeling like a workman with only half his tools. Sitting in the dark on those cold bleak evenings just feels alien without a dog to talk to. Chattering mallard and whistling widgeon have all flown close by with nothing more than an admiring glance.

  So, after many weeks of searching for a puppy whose parents had undergone all the appropriate health checks I now have a new addition to the family. With a bit of luck and after some enjoyable training she will develop into a well behaved steady gundog  and a good shooting companion in the winter months of future wildfowling seasons.

Her father Mansengreen Diesel of Birdsgreen is a bit of a star so hopefully it will run in the family.
